ABOUT ASARPI:
ASARPI, the African Social Responsibility and Public Initiatives, is a global think tank with roots in Mauritius, Namibia and South Africa. Established in 2017 in South Africa, 2021 in Mauritius and 2023 in Namibia by the visionary Prof. John H. Stanfield, ASARPI is more than just a think tank. It’s a dynamic force for positive change, led by an African American social entrepreneur, social scientist, historian, and theologian. Prof. Stanfield also served as the 2019-20 SSR Chair of African Studies at the University of Mauritius.
At ASARPI, we believe in effecting change at the intersection of knowledge, social responsibility, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to create a better world through knowledge dissemination and socially responsible initiatives.
ASARPI strives be the world’s leading non-aligned impartial think tank for discussions, designs, implementations, and monitoring/evaluations empowering quality of life policies in Africa and in global African Diasporas.
Organization Mission
Asarpi endeavours to become the primary socially responsible, i. E. , community-oriented, non-aligned and impartial think tank in Africa encouraging strategic thinking and policy change advocacy for empowering decent quality of life for all people in general and for all Africans in particular which includes all pertinent stake-holders from grassroots to the highest levels of academic and policy-makers in deliberation processes from start to finish outcomes such as social media and written reports and culturally relevant and effective intervention models.

The non-aligned and impartial asarpi scope engages in advisory and consultancy services that occur to meaningfully share and discuss information in ways sensitive to the communication styles of multiple audiences. The think tank also engages in publishing activities (knowledge dissemination) through an online publications platform (asarpiversity publishing). In addition, asarpi advances the incubation of socially responsible solo entrepreneurs and small businesses.
