CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVES
This course, offered by a noteworthy American cross-cultural sociologist and life coach with extensive lived experiences in Mauritius, in continental African nations; as well as in the Western Hemisphere and in Europe,targets management leaders in business, civil society,government, and nonprofit sectors interested in learning and improving emotional intelligence principles in their professional and personal lives in and outside their workplaces such as verbal and body interpersonal communication, transparency , modesty, discernment, self esteem, altruism ,de-stressing empathy, and intercultural openness. It is offered in recognition that studies show life satisfaction, morale in workplaces, and upward mobility within and especially across 21st century societies which are sustained are rooted in having quality emotional intelligence in key areas not merely our degrees or technical skills or social pedigrees.
This course aims to bring to the attention of learners best practices in emotional intelligence principles and to provide opportunities to explore and share their applications through reporting and sharing field assignments.
